No. I managed to strain it attempting one too many splits. Apparently, my enthusiasm for mobility exceeded my hamstring’s current flexibility capacity. Lesson learned. But this actually highlights something we see all the time in clinic: Even people who love movement (or think they’re more flexible than they are) can benefit from the right balance of mobility, strength, and recovery. Injury prevention isn’t just about stretching more — it’s about training your body properly. Which is exactly where chiropractic care and rehab work together.</image:caption>

During my time at university, I was involved in the Hands-On India program, travelling to underserved communities to provide care and support. This experience played a significant role in shaping my approach as a chiropractor and reinforced the importance of compassionate, community-focused healthcare. Since graduating, I have continued to expand my clinical skills through further study in paediatric chiropractic care, pregnancy care, Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Gonstead technique. This allows me to support people of all ages and life stages with personalised, evidence-informed care. I am currently completing a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame, with one year remaining. Due to its reliance on the muscles and ligaments to maintain its integrity, shoulders can experience significant loading and stress. This can lead to damage of the tissues like the labrum, resulting in instability. Although sports and other physical activity can induce shoulder injuries, poor posture and mid back biomechanics can affect the movement of the shoulder and scapular, leading to abnormal movements and ultimately injury and dysfunction. If left injured, conditions such as bursitis, rotator cuff tears, or impingement can result in adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). This results in stiffening and chronic inflammation.
